Throughout the years I’ve spent living in and traveling throughout the western United States, I’m increasingly drawn to the details – obvious and subtle – that help to distinguish each facet of the region. As much as western landscapes inspire and exhilarate, the people who live and work across this part of the country have their own stories to tell. Further, people are an integral part of “place” in my mind.
It is my hope that my photographs can continue to emphasize people as much as places. This vision is rooted in the region that is my home: the American West.
